Still posting Holiday pictures.....
While we were in PA for Christmas, we took Jacob to vist with Bella, while we visited with Leah & Brent. Jacob is 3 weeks older than Bella (and about twice her size) - they had a really great time playing together.

New Year's

I'm skipping around a bit, but will get more pictures posted of the Holidays in PA.

For New Year's, Lance & I went to stay with our nephew, Egg and his wife, Angie, in Tampa. (Jacob stayed with my parents.)
They had a party New Year's Eve. We had a really good time. We had tons of fireworks.
On New Year's Day we all went to the Outback Bowl (Penn State 20 - Tennessee 10)
It was so much fun - we had really great seats. Although it rained, we enjoyed tailgating, the game, and post tailgating.

Surprise Surprise!!!

Jacob's going to have a little brother or sister.
Lance & I were quiet shocked at the news.
We found out on Dec 28 and it was confirmed with my first's doctor's appoint on Jan 4, that yes, I am pregnant again!!
The new little Galloway is expected to be due around the end of August, first of September.
The doctor didn't want to predict a due date until the first ultrasound was done.

More Christmas Pictures

We gave Sophia a Spark Art Easel and an apron to wear when she is doing art work (or cooking). Thanks Leah for monogramming it for us (it was perfect). Sophia loved it and owe it all day long.

Jacob loved his little car from Aunt Melynda & Uncle Britt

I got 3-D type glasses from Randi. When you put them on and looked at Christmas lights the lights changed into little Christmas trees. They were so cool - Here is Leah modelling them for us.

Jacob playing with the Christmas tree the night before

Congratulations Uncle Tony & Aunt Leah

Leah made a calendar for us for a Christmas present for our family.
It had everyone's birthdates and anniversaries on it along with pictures for each month.
On August, the picture was of Leah's ultrasound.

Tony & Leah are having TWINS!!!!
We are so happy for them - it was the best Christmas present!!!

Best Christmas Yet

On Saturday morning (Dec 23), we had Christmas with my family:
Nonna & Pop
Leon, Karrie, & Sophia
Tony & Leah
Britt & Melynda
Lance, me, & Jacob
It was the BEST Christmas Ever (see next post for more details)
Jacob wasn't in to opening presents but once they were open he was so excited and loved ALL his new toys (Thank you everyone). He also started pushing Sophia away from his toys.
Jacob got a chair from Uncle Leon, Aunt Karrie, & Sophia.
He loves to play in the chair. He has already learned to climb in it and out of it without falling.

Taking a break (to suck his thumb) and get a quick picture with Aunt Lyndi

Aunt Lyndi Came to Town

On December 17th, Aunt Lyndi (Melynda) came to Mobile from LA to stay until New Year's Day. Jacob loved Aunt Mel and also got confused on a couple of occassions.
Here are a few pictures of them playing on the deck.
These pictures were all taken by daddy (Lance) - I was at work at the time.

10 Months

On December 16, Jacob turned 10 months old.
Here are his 10 month pictures.

I'm Back

Okay - it's been so long since I've posted.
Things have been a little crazy around here.
We went to PA for Christmas then to Tampa for the New Year.
There is so much that has changed since my last post.
Some may be out of order - be sure to read all of them or you may miss something BIG!!!

Two Years!!

Lance & I had our two year anniversary on November 27, 2006. Lance had to work (night shift) so we didn't get a real chance to celebrate.
But, Lance gave me a very nice gift. He gave me a new digital camera with all the bells & whistles (Sony DSLR-A100K). I love it and have been experimenting a little with it - maybe you'll be able to tell a difference in my pictues.
Here's the camera that I got.

Here are some of my first pictures with it.

Jacob likes mommy's new camera also

Jacob & Sophia - Christmas 2006

We had pictures made of Jacob & Sophia together.
That wasn't easy - Jacob smiled in the beginning and was fine, but we couldn't get Sophia to smile. Then Jacob got bored and just wanted to crawl around and play with everything.

They share secrets sometimes

Black Friday

We love Black Friday. This year the outlet mall in Foley opened at midnight Thanksgiving night - we had plans to be there at midnight, but that didn't happen. So, instead we went early Friday morning. Jacob did so well all day shopping.
Then that evening, Jacob & Sophia took pictures together - I'll post those as soon as I get them.
After pictures, we went to Bellingrath Gardens with Leon, Karrie, Sophia, Tony, Leah, & all of Leah's family to see the Christmas in Lights. http://www.bellingrath.org/
It was really beautiful and Jacob loved it. But, he fell asleep about 45 minutes into the walk around the gardens, he tried to stay awake as long as he could.
I got a couple of pictures before he fell asleep.

Leon, Karrie & Sophia

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving morning - Nonna & Pop gave Jacob a present to kick off the holiday season.
Here he is looking like - "what do I do with this?"

"Hmmm - do I play with the Grinch or Max?"

For Thanksgiving, we went to Tony & Leah's house. Leah did a wonderful job with Thanksgiving dinner and we had a really great time. I didn't get any pictures while I was there. I just completely forgot!!

Winter Day

Last Sunday, Nov. 19, my neighbors were out in the cul-de-sac playing, so Jacob & I went outside to join them. It was like a winter day here - weather in the low 50s but windy, so it felt mucher colder. I wrapped Jacob up and put him in the neighbor's wagon - he absolutely loved being outside especially since he's been sick and stuck in the house.

9 months

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.
I was out of town for 4 nights - the first time I spent a night away from Jacob.
It was really hard - but thanks to Nonna (my mom) for keeping Jacob over that time period.
It wasn't easy, especially since he got sick (cold and now ear infections).
On Nov 16, Jacob turned 9 months old!!!
It's getting harder and harder to get him to sit long enough for a picture so there are very few.
Here are his 9 month pictures with Pluto.

Happy Halloween

Jacob has started attending the watermelon patch (www.thewmpatch.com).
It's a play school for children 0 -5 years of age.
He loves it. He has a scheduled class on Wednesday morning where they have activities for his age group. His nonna takes him to class. They also have open play through out the week and they go play just about every day. He can play by himself and climb on stuff.
Last Monday (Oct 30), they had a Halloween Party.
We took Sophia with us also.
Here are some pictures of them.
Jacob as Yoda

Yoda (Jacob) and Hermione (Sophia)

Check out Jacob's feet!! He did that on his own - I didn't cross them. That is how he sits now.

The party was Sophia's first visit to the patch. As soon as we got there, she started taking off her costume - there was just too much to do and her costume was in the way. Jacob sat around for a little while - there were tons of kids every where. Then he wanted to start playing also, so I took off his robe, but left on the head piece. Here are some pictures.

On Halloween night, we went to Tony & Leah's house for trick or treating. Jacob ate pizza for the first time and had a lollipop also. (It was Halloween - what could I do)

He wasn't very happy Halloween night for some reason - every time I put him down, he cried. So, it was really hard to get any good pictures of him, but I tried.
