We're Home

Addison & I came home from the hospital on Saturday.
Everything was great.

Sunday, all of my family came over for lunch and to visit, so we had all 5 of the cousins together at once. It was a little hard to get any good pictures of all five of them at the same time, but here's a try.

Starting with Jacob (18 months) , then me holding Addison (4 days old), Sophia (3 yrs), Ella (6 weeks old) - screaming held by her mom, Leah and Cade (6 weeks old) held by Aunt Melynda

Sophia loves holding the new babies - here she is holding Addison

Addison Rayne Galloway

Addison Rayne Galloway
arrived on August 15, 2007 at 7:41 a.m.
She was born at 20.5 inches and 7 lbs 8 oz

Jacob loves his little sister - any time anyone came in the room, he would start crying and go by his sister, he thought the person was going to try and take her.

More pictures to come shortly.

8 DAYS AND COUNTING

Okay, I know it's been a long time since I've posted but things are just crazy around here.
Jacob is non-stop ALL the time, he started a different day care about 4 weeks ago and he's talking up a storm now.
I'm HUGE and can't wait for baby Girl Galloway (or no-name Galloway as my family calls her because we haven't picked a name) to arrive.
ONLY 8 DAYS LEFT!!
This week Jacob is staying at his Nonna & Pops' house in Mississippi so I can work some extra hours at work to get things ready for my leave - also I need the time to start getting things ready around the house.
I'll be sure to post in about 8 days with pictures of our new addition.

Congratulations Uncle Tony & Aunt Leah

Congratulations to Tony & Leah on the birth of their baby girl and baby boy.
The twins were delivered this morning (Sunday - July 1st).
Babies and momma are all healthy.
Ella Giovanna weighed in at 4 lbs 7 oz and
Anthony Caden (Cade) weighed in at 5 lbs

I will get more details later, but wanted to make the announcement.

Jacob was running a high fever yesterday and I have some congestion - so we didn't get to go into the room. I took a few pictures from outside the L&D room of Ella. Cade was still in the nursery (they were waiting for him to cough up some stuff) and we took some pictures through the window. I can't wait to hold those little babies, but we will have to wait until Jacob & I are feeling better.

Here is Cade in the nursery

Trip to VA

Our last trip to VA was June 8-11, 2007. I took my camera but didn't take a single picture (I know, I'm horrible).
Mel took some pictures and made some smileboxes.

Summertime

Jacob loves the water - the pool, but especially the water hose - he likes to spray the water all over him and all over Abby. Abby loves the water hose as well.

Here is Jacob & Abby playing in the neighbor's kiddy pool & waterhose.

I'm posting a bunch because I can't decide which ones are my favorites.

First Haircut

Okay - everyone kept on me about Jacob's mullet - so he finaly got his first haircut on May 26. Mobile has a new children's salon - Smilz 'n Stylz - other than them opening late and taking 30 minutes (after his haircut) to get their computer working - it was a great haircut. Jacob loved playing in the corvette.

Here he is with the mullet still in the back

Playing with the radio

He was such a big boy - he didn't move when she used the clippers.

The back - and me in the mirror

And the after picture

He is so handsome - he now looks like a boy!!!

Playing Outside

A couple of weeks ago after church, Jacob went outside to play and I tried to get some pictures of him in his plaid shorts. But, that didn't go very well. He didn't want to look at the camera at all. So, here are the best ones I could get.

First Kiss

My friend, Jodie, and her daughter, Sophie, came over one night (about a month ago) for dinner and a play date.

Jacob & Sophie really liked kissing each other - of course that was until I got the camera out and starting taking pictures. Then they were more interested in the camera than each other.

Here are the few pictures I did get of it.

Look - Sophie has her eyes closed preparing for the big kiss

Updates Coming

Okay, I know, I know, I'm horrible - I haven't posted in a while.

Things are so crazy around here. Lance is working in Pensacola. Jacob is into everything. I'm as big as a house with 2 more months to go. Work is crazy. Work at home is even crazier. Our life is a whirlwind.....

I have tons of pictures to post - I will get everything on as fast as I can.

Trip to Nonna & Pops

I downloaded all the pictures from my camera to my laptop and now my laptop is "in service" and I may not get it back. I still have pictures from the Easter Egg hunt that I want to post.
So, if I do get all my files back, I will be posting out of order.
But for now, this past weekend, Jacob is stayed at his Nonna & Pop's house in Mississippi. (Lance & I went to Atlanta and to the Talladega race)
My mom sent pictures so I can see how much fun he had.
Jacob eating ice cream

Jacob loves tractors - as soon as he gets to Pop's house, he runs to the garage door to say "get out the tractor, Pop"

Jacob is sitting on it, trying to start it I imagine

Pop & Jacob riding around

Jacob showing that he can drive a "tractor" as well

When it was time to come inside, Jacob didn't like that very well. So he threw a little fit and threw himself up against the door to try and make his point.

And the end of the day, Jacob playing after his bath

Spring Time

So, it's spring time. Easter Weekend ....
I think of flowers and picnics. Sundresses and Sandles. Plaid shorts and polo tops.
But, not this Easter.
We woke up Saturday morning before Easter in Gloucester, VA to about 6 inches of snow on the ground. It was really awesome (except they canceled the races because of the snow).
This was Jacob's first snow.
He was excited at first and started picking it up, then he fell down it and he didn't want to have anything else to do with the snow. He came running to me to the sidewalk, so he could get out of the snow.
We saw the Easter Bunny riding a 4-wheeler through the snow on the side of the highway - I really wish I had my camera out for that, it was hilarious.

Jacob and Daddy in their first snow.
Jacob testing it out.

Jacob face down in the snow.

Running

I've been trying to get a picture of Jacob as he is running.
It is so funny to watch him - although we are hoping he doesn't end up like me and run funny for his entire life.
He puts his hands behind his back when he's running.
This isn't the best picture, but it's the only one I've been able to get so far.

Sophie's 1st Birthday

After leaving the watermelon patch on March 3rd, Jacob and I went to celebrate our friend Sophie's 1st Birthday. Sophie is 3 weeks younger than Jacob.
They had a really great time playing together.
Her party was princess themed and she looked so cute in her crown.

Sophie & her mom, Jodie

She didn't like the cake part of the party - I think it was naptime

Finally

Okay, I'm finally posting again. I have a lot of catching up to do, so this may be out of order and some really old pictures, but I want to get them on here.

On March 3rd (told you it was really old), the watermelon patch had a fashion show, so I took Jacob & Sophia there for the day for the show and to play.
Here are a few pictures.

We're having a Girl

We had an ultrasound on 3/29/07. Lance & I looked and thought we saw a little boy part and she said - no that's a foot, a really big foot.

Then she confirmed that

WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL

Everyone is so excited. Jacob's going to be a great big brother to a little sister.

He's already learning. Last thursday, he gave Sophia a black eye. I think he finally realized that he's big enough now that he doesn't have to sit around while she pushes him around.

She was such the little ham during the ultrasound, turning for us, opening her legs, waving at the camera.

Here she is waving at the camera

This ones really hard to tell anything other than it confirmed she is a girl - on the right is her butt.

Still Here

Sorry everyone that I haven't posted recently.
I was in Vegas for a week with work - Melynda came and stayed with me for 3 days. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures from that.
Then my computer crashed this past weekend - everything is fine now.
I haven't even taken any pictures of Jacob recently, everytime I get the camera out he wants to play with it.
We are leaving on Good Friday to go to Virginia for 5 days (can't wait to see everyone), so I will be taking lots of pictures there.
