Trip to Nonna & Pops

I downloaded all the pictures from my camera to my laptop and now my laptop is "in service" and I may not get it back. I still have pictures from the Easter Egg hunt that I want to post.
So, if I do get all my files back, I will be posting out of order.
But for now, this past weekend, Jacob is stayed at his Nonna & Pop's house in Mississippi. (Lance & I went to Atlanta and to the Talladega race)
My mom sent pictures so I can see how much fun he had.
Jacob eating ice cream

Jacob loves tractors - as soon as he gets to Pop's house, he runs to the garage door to say "get out the tractor, Pop"

Jacob is sitting on it, trying to start it I imagine

Pop & Jacob riding around

Jacob showing that he can drive a "tractor" as well

When it was time to come inside, Jacob didn't like that very well. So he threw a little fit and threw himself up against the door to try and make his point.

And the end of the day, Jacob playing after his bath

Spring Time

So, it's spring time. Easter Weekend ....
I think of flowers and picnics. Sundresses and Sandles. Plaid shorts and polo tops.
But, not this Easter.
We woke up Saturday morning before Easter in Gloucester, VA to about 6 inches of snow on the ground. It was really awesome (except they canceled the races because of the snow).
This was Jacob's first snow.
He was excited at first and started picking it up, then he fell down it and he didn't want to have anything else to do with the snow. He came running to me to the sidewalk, so he could get out of the snow.
We saw the Easter Bunny riding a 4-wheeler through the snow on the side of the highway - I really wish I had my camera out for that, it was hilarious.

Jacob and Daddy in their first snow.
Jacob testing it out.

Jacob face down in the snow.

Running

I've been trying to get a picture of Jacob as he is running.
It is so funny to watch him - although we are hoping he doesn't end up like me and run funny for his entire life.
He puts his hands behind his back when he's running.
This isn't the best picture, but it's the only one I've been able to get so far.

Sophie's 1st Birthday

After leaving the watermelon patch on March 3rd, Jacob and I went to celebrate our friend Sophie's 1st Birthday. Sophie is 3 weeks younger than Jacob.
They had a really great time playing together.
Her party was princess themed and she looked so cute in her crown.

Sophie & her mom, Jodie

She didn't like the cake part of the party - I think it was naptime

Finally

Okay, I'm finally posting again. I have a lot of catching up to do, so this may be out of order and some really old pictures, but I want to get them on here.

On March 3rd (told you it was really old), the watermelon patch had a fashion show, so I took Jacob & Sophia there for the day for the show and to play.
Here are a few pictures.

Jacob decided to take a break

We're having a Girl

We had an ultrasound on 3/29/07. Lance & I looked and thought we saw a little boy part and she said - no that's a foot, a really big foot.

Then she confirmed that

WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL

Everyone is so excited. Jacob's going to be a great big brother to a little sister.

He's already learning. Last thursday, he gave Sophia a black eye. I think he finally realized that he's big enough now that he doesn't have to sit around while she pushes him around.

She was such the little ham during the ultrasound, turning for us, opening her legs, waving at the camera.

Here she is waving at the camera

This ones really hard to tell anything other than it confirmed she is a girl - on the right is her butt.

Still Here

Sorry everyone that I haven't posted recently.
I was in Vegas for a week with work - Melynda came and stayed with me for 3 days. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures from that.
Then my computer crashed this past weekend - everything is fine now.
I haven't even taken any pictures of Jacob recently, everytime I get the camera out he wants to play with it.
We are leaving on Good Friday to go to Virginia for 5 days (can't wait to see everyone), so I will be taking lots of pictures there.

Baby Week

It seems to be baby week everywhere....
2 of our friends have delivered baby's this week.
Colin Alexander Fisher - proud parents, Heather & Bill, excited big brother, Noah
Aiden Alexander Bahna - proud parents, Lisa & Jim
(See other post for announcements & pictures)

As far as me - we had a doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon.
I drove through a tornado to get there - after I crossed over the Bay Way, I heard on the radio that a tornado was just crossing the Bay Way head northeast. (I was heading west).
The visit was good, short. The baby's heartrate was 150 (Jacob's never got that high!!)- maybe it was the stress from the tornado, because I thought I was going to have a heartache myself.
My ultrasound has been scheduled for March 29 and we get to find out the sex on that visit.

Congratulations Bahna Family

Congratulations to my friends, Lisa & Jim Bahna on the birth
of their beautiful baby boy,

Aiden Alexander Bahna

Jacob's First Birthday Party

Saturday, Feb 17, 2007 we celebrated Jacob's first birthday with a cook-out at our house with family and a few friends. Jacob had a really great time and loved having so many people in the house. He wore his crown all day - I think he's a ham!!

He didn't eat his cake - that may have been because he just ate lunch or because everyone was watching or because he just wanted to get down and play.

Here are some pictures from the day. I will be posting more and more as I have time.

One Full Year - Unbelievable!!!

JACOB IS ONE!!
It's so hard to believe that I was in the hospital a year ago today preparing for our precious little Jacob to be born. It's been the fastest year of my life and of course the best!!!
Jacob is absolutely wonderful.
His 5th tooth cut through this week. He's been walking for over 2 months now.
He loves to run, climb on anything & everything. He loves to eat - although he's getting to the point that if he's not feeding himself, he won't eat.
We are having a little party out our house tomorrow, so I will have lots of pictures to post after the party.

Baby Galloway 2

Here is the first picture of Baby Galloway 2.
I had an ultrasound on 2/1/07. Doctor said that everything is looking good.
I was 10 weeks and 2 days on 2/1 - which makes my due date 8/27/07.
Not a great picture, but the head is on the right.
The little hand is sticking up above the face.
The baby is lying on his/her back.

New Year's

I'm skipping around a bit, but will get more pictures posted of the Holidays in PA.

For New Year's, Lance & I went to stay with our nephew, Egg and his wife, Angie, in Tampa. (Jacob stayed with my parents.)
They had a party New Year's Eve. We had a really good time. We had tons of fireworks.
On New Year's Day we all went to the Outback Bowl (Penn State 20 - Tennessee 10)
It was so much fun - we had really great seats. Although it rained, we enjoyed tailgating, the game, and post tailgating.

Surprise Surprise!!!

Jacob's going to have a little brother or sister.
Lance & I were quiet shocked at the news.
We found out on Dec 28 and it was confirmed with my first's doctor's appoint on Jan 4, that yes, I am pregnant again!!
The new little Galloway is expected to be due around the end of August, first of September.
The doctor didn't want to predict a due date until the first ultrasound was done.
