Pumpkin Patch

We took Jacob & Addison to the pumpkin patch for pictures.
Jacob ran down this big hill into a ditch while we were trying to get Addison positioned - luckily I caught him just in time.
It's really hard to get Jacob to sit still for pictures now, but I tried......

This is the "I'm too sexy for the pumpkins" pose.

Big Boy

Jacob has started pee peeing on the potty.

In the evenings only so far - he's been taking off his diaper on his own and sitting down on his little potty before and after his bath.

He started on the day he turned 20-months old.

We are so excited.

It just started and I don't normally have my camera upstairs, so I don't have any pictures of this BIG event - but I wanted to share the news.

Trip to VA & PA

We drove to PA when Addison was 4 weeks old.

We stayed in PA for a week with Lance's family and then stayed a few days in VA before coming home.

It was the fall Classic (last race of the season), so we had 2 nights of racing.

Jacob loves the races and Addison did very well - sleeping during the racing but would wake in between races.

Here are a few pictures from the races.

Brandon in the late model - I'm not good at action & night photos - I couldn't get my settings correct, so I didn't get many pictures of the race car.

Addison - 7 weeks

Updates

Okay, so I've been away for a while.
A lot has happened.
Addison is now 7 weeks old - time has flown by.
I am returning to work next week - not happy about that.
Our family (Lance, me, Jacob, and Addison) took a road trip to VA & PA.
Although the reason for the travel was not a good one - we enjoyed seeing all of Lance's family and being able to spend that time with everyone.
Mommy (that's me) got a new Go!!

Jacob & Addison are wonderful - I never could have imagined 2 more DIFFERENT but perfect children.
Next post will have pictures.

Lance & Jacob's trip

Lance & Jacob took a 6 day trip to Virginia to visit family 2 weeks ago.
I took some pictures of them leaving that morning (used my mother's camera because mine was dead) but haven't downloaded those pictures yet. I will update with those pictures when I can.
Here is a smilebox made by Mel Galloway of Jacob's trip.
He had so much fun visiting with his cousins - he especially loved Lilly.

Of course - Jacob has a black eye in the pictures!!

We're Home

Addison & I came home from the hospital on Saturday.
Everything was great.

Sunday, all of my family came over for lunch and to visit, so we had all 5 of the cousins together at once. It was a little hard to get any good pictures of all five of them at the same time, but here's a try.

Starting with Jacob (18 months) , then me holding Addison (4 days old), Sophia (3 yrs), Ella (6 weeks old) - screaming held by her mom, Leah and Cade (6 weeks old) held by Aunt Melynda

Sophia loves holding the new babies - here she is holding Addison

Addison Rayne Galloway

Addison Rayne Galloway
arrived on August 15, 2007 at 7:41 a.m.
She was born at 20.5 inches and 7 lbs 8 oz

Jacob loves his little sister - any time anyone came in the room, he would start crying and go by his sister, he thought the person was going to try and take her.

More pictures to come shortly.

8 DAYS AND COUNTING

Okay, I know it's been a long time since I've posted but things are just crazy around here.
Jacob is non-stop ALL the time, he started a different day care about 4 weeks ago and he's talking up a storm now.
I'm HUGE and can't wait for baby Girl Galloway (or no-name Galloway as my family calls her because we haven't picked a name) to arrive.
ONLY 8 DAYS LEFT!!
This week Jacob is staying at his Nonna & Pops' house in Mississippi so I can work some extra hours at work to get things ready for my leave - also I need the time to start getting things ready around the house.
I'll be sure to post in about 8 days with pictures of our new addition.

Congratulations Uncle Tony & Aunt Leah

Congratulations to Tony & Leah on the birth of their baby girl and baby boy.
The twins were delivered this morning (Sunday - July 1st).
Babies and momma are all healthy.
Ella Giovanna weighed in at 4 lbs 7 oz and
Anthony Caden (Cade) weighed in at 5 lbs

I will get more details later, but wanted to make the announcement.

Jacob was running a high fever yesterday and I have some congestion - so we didn't get to go into the room. I took a few pictures from outside the L&D room of Ella. Cade was still in the nursery (they were waiting for him to cough up some stuff) and we took some pictures through the window. I can't wait to hold those little babies, but we will have to wait until Jacob & I are feeling better.

Here is Cade in the nursery

Trip to VA

Our last trip to VA was June 8-11, 2007. I took my camera but didn't take a single picture (I know, I'm horrible).
Mel took some pictures and made some smileboxes.

Summertime

Jacob loves the water - the pool, but especially the water hose - he likes to spray the water all over him and all over Abby. Abby loves the water hose as well.

Here is Jacob & Abby playing in the neighbor's kiddy pool & waterhose.

I'm posting a bunch because I can't decide which ones are my favorites.

First Haircut

Okay - everyone kept on me about Jacob's mullet - so he finaly got his first haircut on May 26. Mobile has a new children's salon - Smilz 'n Stylz - other than them opening late and taking 30 minutes (after his haircut) to get their computer working - it was a great haircut. Jacob loved playing in the corvette.

Here he is with the mullet still in the back

Playing with the radio

He was such a big boy - he didn't move when she used the clippers.

The back - and me in the mirror

And the after picture

He is so handsome - he now looks like a boy!!!

Playing Outside

A couple of weeks ago after church, Jacob went outside to play and I tried to get some pictures of him in his plaid shorts. But, that didn't go very well. He didn't want to look at the camera at all. So, here are the best ones I could get.

First Kiss

My friend, Jodie, and her daughter, Sophie, came over one night (about a month ago) for dinner and a play date.

Jacob & Sophie really liked kissing each other - of course that was until I got the camera out and starting taking pictures. Then they were more interested in the camera than each other.

Here are the few pictures I did get of it.

Look - Sophie has her eyes closed preparing for the big kiss

The big kiss

Updates Coming

Okay, I know, I know, I'm horrible - I haven't posted in a while.

Things are so crazy around here. Lance is working in Pensacola. Jacob is into everything. I'm as big as a house with 2 more months to go. Work is crazy. Work at home is even crazier. Our life is a whirlwind.....

I have tons of pictures to post - I will get everything on as fast as I can.

Trip to Nonna & Pops

I downloaded all the pictures from my camera to my laptop and now my laptop is "in service" and I may not get it back. I still have pictures from the Easter Egg hunt that I want to post.
So, if I do get all my files back, I will be posting out of order.
But for now, this past weekend, Jacob is stayed at his Nonna & Pop's house in Mississippi. (Lance & I went to Atlanta and to the Talladega race)
My mom sent pictures so I can see how much fun he had.
Jacob eating ice cream

Jacob loves tractors - as soon as he gets to Pop's house, he runs to the garage door to say "get out the tractor, Pop"

Jacob is sitting on it, trying to start it I imagine

Pop & Jacob riding around

Jacob showing that he can drive a "tractor" as well

When it was time to come inside, Jacob didn't like that very well. So he threw a little fit and threw himself up against the door to try and make his point.

And the end of the day, Jacob playing after his bath
