Lance has renamed our dog Abby as "stupid dog"

Abby loves to go for rides in the car - after returning from a trip with Lance, Abby "hid" in the backseat (she will also just sit in the car all day waiting to go for a ride in the car).

Lance didn't realize she was still in the truck.

Lance left BOTH sets of keys in his truck (he does this all the time),

Abby stood on the door (see below) and hit the lock button and locked all the doors.

We had to call a locksmith and $60 later, Abby was freed from the truck.

Thursday my cousin Nikki and her girls came over to visit.

Daddy's Home!!

Daddy came home on Thursday and is staying for a week before he has to leave for Oklahoma for a few more weeks.

Lance has been sick and worried about holding Jacob all the time, but Jacob is cranky if I'm holding him. He wants his dad to hold him all the time.

Here are a few shots we took Saturday morning.

Jacob loves to show what a big boy he is - he stands whenever you let him. When he's on his stomach he turns his head back and forth from side to side and he tries to crawl, he just doesn't know that he needs to lift his chest off the ground and push at the same time. He lifts his head & chest, then puts it down and pushes. Then after trying for a while he gets upset that he's not moving.

Big day today - finally Jacob's umbilical cord fell off

So, on Saturday morning, he had his first big boy bath

Thursday - our friend Melissa (Missy) drove down from Atlanta to visit with Jacob and me.
Jacob was a little fussy during the time she was here and as soon as she left he turned back into the little angel.

Thursday - Jacob was 4 weeks old.
My friend Nikki suggested to me to take Jacob's pictures every month with the same prop to see how fast he grows.
We picked his Pluto doll that Aunt Lindy (Melynda) gave us for Christmas.
So every month, you will see a picture of him next to this stuffed animal.

Weekend

This weekend Jacob & I went to Nonna & Pop's house to stay the weekend.
Saturday was very busy - too many people to see, too many places to go.
I think Jacob got a little bothered by all the interaction and was a very grumpy boy Saturday evening.
Sunday we went to my cousin Adrienne's wedding shower and since Jacob was the only boy there, he showed off for everyone and was very good.
