Addison Swimming

On Memorial Day, we spent the day in the pool - (Jacob, Addison, Sophia, Aunt Melynda, Aunt Karrie, and Me)
Addison is a natural swimmer - she loves it - it didn't even bother her when her face went under water. Jacob finally decided he wanted to swim and we all had a great time.

Line 'em up

Jacob's race cars are always lined up (everywhere in the house - on the play table, in the corner of the room, on the windows). Either end to end or side by side.

Last Sunday, I cooked spaghetti for Addison for the first time.

I was feeding it to her and Jacob was eating when I got up to answer the phone.

When I came back, Jacob was sharing with Addison. She loved feeding herself so much.

Changes Changes Changes

So many new things to talk about.

On May 8th, we were all upstairs getting ready for bed and Lance said to Abby (our dog) "Abby, Get!" and Addison said "Get" right after he did.

She has said get one more time since then. She has also started "uh-oh"

Addison has been pulling up on everything and cruising the furniture. Last night she let go and was stood by herself for several minutes.

Addison has started eating big girl food - her favorites are my spaghetti and diced carrots.

Jacobs new phrase right now is "that's my favorite"

Mother's Day was nice. Lance had to work that day. Jacob, Addison, & I got up and went to church (a little bit of a disaster, but that was okay), we had breakfast with Aunt Melynda then went to Target. I took Addison swimming in our pool for the first time (while Jacob was napping) - she loved it. Then Jacob and I went swimming while Addison napped. I didn't get any pictures while they were in the pool - but soon.

It was a great day!!

Last Weekend

Last weekend, my best friend, Missy came to visit from Atlanta.

Aunt Melynda, Uncle Britt, Missy, Lance, me, Jacob, & Addison all went to the races on Saturday night.

We had a great time. They had a dance contest with the kids - Jacob won 2nd place in the chicken dance!!! He was so funny.
