Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the pumpkin patch today to get Jacob & Addison's Fall pictures

It was very hard to get a picture with both of them smiling at the camera but I tried....

Baton Rouge Zoo

Lance has been working in Baton Rouge, so we drove over one Saturday for a visit.

Took a trip to their local zoo, was a little disappointed (a lot of walking with very few animals) - but we had a great time anyway.

We espically liked that you could pick up some grass and the giraffes would come to the fence so we could feed them and pet them.

We were so excited that Egg, Angie, & Evan decided to come for a visit for Labor Day weekend.

After Addison's birthday party, cousin Sophia stayed the night and the next day we went to the New Orleans Zoo. It rained some that day so I didn't get a lot of pictures.

Moving on to August

From my list of items that I posted previously to get caught up on, I'm now on August -

First Five Flags speedway in Pensacola to watch some racing on asphalt.

Lance bought Addison her very first late model - which happened to be Bill Elliott

A few minutes later, we see Bill Elliott walk through the stands - his son was racing

Addison & I snuck up to the spotter's box and got Bill to sign her car

My camera was put away when he started walking out - here is the best picture I got.
