Lance (Daddy) has been working at a job close to Boutte, LA (which is right outside of New Orleans). After my trip to Denver, I picked up Jacob & Addison from my parents house in Mississippi and drove to New Orleans to spend the afternoon with Daddy.
We went to the Audubon zoo in New Orleans. We had the best day. Jacob loves the zoo. He ask almost every day if we can go to see the lions & tigers at the zoo.
The best part of course is feeding the giraffes. Addison loved it - she kept petting the giraffes (you aren't allowed to pet them only to feed them).

Jacob waving at the sea lion. This morning in church, Jacob was looking through a book that had animals - he said "look mom a sea lion" - smart boy.
