First Flight

On June 30th, Jake took his first flight. We went to Lance's brother's house in Gloucester, Virginia for the 4th of July weekend.
I actually packed the cameras on the flight there, so we took some pictures on the flight home.
On the flight there, Jake was really good. He laughed and played the entire flights.
After our lay over in Atlanta, we got on the plane and we were sitting on the runway (waiting for our turn) when Jake decided to give us a present. I had to wait until we were in the air to get up and go to the bathroom. It's not easy for a normal person to use the bathroom in that small of a space, imagine changing a diaper in that space.
After I got him all cleaned & was about to put his diaper on, Jake started to tinkle all over me, himself, the bathroom, the floor. I immediately put the clean diaper over him to try and stop it from going everywhere else - the only diaper I had brought with me.
There was nothing I could do at this point, but open the door (as I'm squatting on the floor) and lean out looking for a flight attendant. This really nice guy in first class asked what I needed, he went and found Lance and told him that he needed a diaper - imagine the shock on Lance's face.
I tried to clean some of the tinkle off my jeans - so one entire leg was wet from top to bottom. Everyone in the front of the plane was laughing WITH me as we walked back to our seats.
We decided that we would never fly coach with infant in arms again - so we upgraged to first class on the flight home. It was nice to have more space but on the first leg, it was Jake's bedtime. I felt so bad for the other people on the flight - he wouldn't stop screaming. He finally passed out and slept on the last leg home.

Here's a picture of them looking out of the window
